Company Description School of Design and Media (SDM) is an educational institution offering Diploma and Degree programs in Graphic Design, UI/UX Design, Animation, Fashion, and Digital Engineering. Role Description The Content Creator is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata and Durgapur. The person in this role will develop and produce digital and print content that showcases SDM’s programs, campus activities, student work, and brand identity. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and scripting content, creating social media posts, writing blog articles and promotional materials, and collaborating with design and academic teams to ensure accurate and engaging storytelling. The Content Creator will capture and organize media assets such as photos and videos, optimize content for various platforms, and track basic performance metrics to refine future content. Participation in campus events and coordination with marketing and admissions teams will also be part of the regular workflow.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with social media platforms, content planning, and simple analytics to tailor content for different audiences.
- Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and time management to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with faculty, students, and administrative teams.
- Comfort working on-site in a creative educational environment and engaging directly with campus activities and events.
- Preferred: Diploma or Degree in Design, Media, Communication, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred: Experience in an educational or creative industry setting and a portfolio showcasing relevant content work.
