ROLE OVERVIEW
G Square & Company is looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor & AI Content Creator to create engaging digital content for The Belgian Waffle Xpress and other associate ventures.
The primary focus of this role will be video editing, AI-generated content, Reels, and short-form videos, along with basic content shooting, graphic designing, influencer coordination, and LinkedIn personal branding.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Edit engaging Instagram Reels, promotional videos, product videos, brand videos, and short-form content.
- Create AI-generated videos, animations, scenes, and creative visuals using modern AI tools.
- Combine real footage with AI-generated visuals to produce high-quality content.
- Add transitions, text animations, subtitles, music, sound effects, and basic motion graphics.
- Handle basic video shoots using a smartphone or camera when required.
- Understand and apply basic lighting, framing, camera angles, and composition.
- Develop creative video concepts, storyboards, shot ideas, and Reel concepts.
- Create basic social media graphics, posters, thumbnails, and digital creatives.
- Coordinate with influencers and content creators for collaborations and campaigns.
- Assist with influencer outreach, follow-ups, communication, and deliverables.
- Support LinkedIn personal branding through videos, graphics, and social content.
- Research the latest AI tools, video trends, social media trends, and creative formats.
- Coordinate with the marketing and management team for campaigns, launches, and promotional activities.
- Maintain brand consistency across all visual and video content.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Strong video editing skills.
- Practical knowledge of AI video and image generation tools.
- Good understanding of AI prompting and AI-based content creation.
- Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar editing software.
- Basic content shooting skills using a smartphone or camera.
- Understanding of lighting, framing, composition, and camera angles.
- Basic knowledge of Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar design tools.
- Good understanding of Instagram Reels and short-form social media content.
- Strong creative sense and visual storytelling ability.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or diploma is optional.
- Candidates will primarily be evaluated based on their skills, creativity, portfolio, and practical knowledge.
- Previous experience in video editing, AI content creation, social media, or digital marketing is preferred but not mandatory.
- Freshers with strong skills and a good portfolio are welcome to apply.
- A portfolio/showreel featuring edited videos, Reels, AI-generated content, or creative projects is highly preferred.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
We are looking for someone who is primarily strong in video editing and AI content creation, understands modern social media content, and is comfortable handling basic shoots when required.
The ideal candidate should be creative, trend-aware, comfortable experimenting with new AI tools, and capable of turning simple ideas into engaging, professional, and high-quality digital content.
