Role Description The Video Editor will be responsible for editing video content end-to-end, including assembling raw footage, syncing audio, applying transitions, and refining narrative flow for a range of brand and event projects. Day-to-day tasks include color grading, adding motion graphics and titles, integrating visual assets, and optimizing videos for different platforms and formats. The role involves close collaboration with producers, directors, designers, and clients to understand project objectives, maintain brand consistency, and deliver polished final outputs within deadlines. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad, requiring regular coordination with the in-house creative and production teams.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing for various formats and platforms.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency, mood, and high-quality image output.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics for titles, lower thirds, overlays, and visual enhancements.
- Minimum 4+ years of professional experience as a Video Editor in a creative agency, production house, or similar environment.
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing and post-production tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
- Strong storytelling sense, attention to detail, and ability to work from creative briefs with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work on-site in Hyderabad, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality.
- A relevant degree or diploma in Film, Media, Animation, or a related field is preferred; a strong portfolio or showreel is required.
