Role Description The Vice President of Trading is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in New Delhi, responsible for overseeing and directing the firm’s trading operations across relevant asset classes. This role involves designing, implementing, and refining trading strategies aligned with the company’s risk appetite, regulatory requirements, and business objectives. The Vice President of Trading will manage and mentor the trading team, monitor market conditions, optimize order execution, and ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance standards. The position requires close collaboration with risk, compliance, technology, and senior management to enhance trading systems, improve performance, and support new product or market initiatives. The role also includes preparing performance reports, presenting trading insights to executive leadership, and contributing to strategic decisions that impact the firm’s growth in the FinTech and financial services space.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong expertise in Trading and Equities, with proven experience managing high-volume, regulated market operations.
- Candidates should possess advanced Trading Strategies skills, including strategy development, back-testing, optimization, and risk management integration.
- Candidates should possess strong expertise in Capital Market
- Extensive experience in a senior trading or markets leadership role within brokerage, wealth management, or FinTech organizations.
- Deep knowledge of SEBI regulations, exchange rules, and risk and compliance frameworks relevant to trading activities.
- Strong leadership, team management, and stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional initiatives.
- Proficiency with trading platforms, market data tools, and analytics software; familiarity with algorithmic and electronic trading environments is an advantage.
