Role Description The Vice President Employee Benefits is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division. This position is responsible for leading the Employee Benefits portfolio, including strategy development, product design, and client advisory across diverse industry sectors. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing benefits program structuring, negotiating with insurers, managing key client accounts, and ensuring high-quality delivery of benefits administration and servicing. The role involves collaborating closely with internal teams such as sales, underwriting, claims, and risk management to develop integrated solutions and support business growth. The Vice President will also mentor team members, drive process improvements, monitor market trends, and maintain compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong expertise in Employee Benefits and Employee Benefits Design.
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Insurance, preferably within corporate or broking environments.
- Candidates should possess experience in Account Management, including client relationship management and portfolio oversight.
- Proven leadership experience in employee benefits or group insurance, with the ability to guide and develop teams.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and client-centric mindset.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and manage senior stakeholders.
- Relevant academic background in insurance, finance, business, or a related field; professional insurance qualifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a senior benefits role within an insurance broker, insurer, or consulting firm, preferably in the Indian market.
