Role Description This full-time User Experience Designer role is a hybrid position based in Chennai, with flexibility for some work from home. The User Experience Designer will collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to design intuitive, accessible digital experiences that support health care and well-being initiatives. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting user research, developing user journeys and interaction flows, creating low- to high-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes, and refining visual design elements in alignment with brand and accessibility standards. The role also involves applying design thinking methodologies, testing solutions with users, iterating based on feedback and data, and documenting design decisions to ensure consistent implementation. The Designer will contribute to design systems, participate in cross-functional workshops, and help advocate for user-centered design across the organization.
Qualifications
- Ability to apply Design Thinking and User Experience (UX) principles to solve complex problems and create user-centered solutions.
- Proficiency in User Research methods, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and analysis of qualitative and quantitative data.
- Strong Visual Design skills, including typography, layout, color, and accessibility-focused interface design.
- Experience with Prototyping and interaction design using industry-standard tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision).
- Solid understanding of responsive web and mobile design, design systems, and accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present design rationale to cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience working in agile or cross-functional product teams within technology or health care environments is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
