Prisa Consulting Services is seeking a results-driven US HR Specialist / Generalist to manage end-to-end HR operations, talent acquisition, and employee engagement tailored specifically for our US-based clients and operations. In this role, you will bridge the time-zone overlap to oversee US recruitment, onboarding, compliance, performance tracking, and HR administration, ensuring smooth personnel operations across global teams.
Key Responsibilities
- US IT & Non-IT Recruitment: Manage end-to-end talent acquisition for US clients, including sourcing via LinkedIn Recruiter, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and coordinating client interviews.
- Onboarding & Offboarding: Handle US employee and contractor onboarding, including background checks, identity verification (I-9/W-4 processing), document collection, system access, and orientation.
- HR Operations & Compliance: Ensure adherence to US federal, state, and local labor standards, employment regulations, and company guidelines.
- Payroll & Benefits Coordination: Maintain accurate employee attendance, leave records, and status changes in HRIS; coordinate with payroll and benefits teams for timely, accurate disbursements.
- Employee Relations & Performance: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries, handle conflict resolution, support annual performance reviews, and drive employee engagement programs.
- US Shift Support: Work during overlapping US business hours (EST/CST) to maintain seamless real-time communication with US hiring managers and team members.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 1+ years of core HR/Recruitment experience focusing specifically on US HR operations or US recruitment within IT services/consulting firms.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of US employment types (W2, 1099, C2C), basic US labor laws, and tax forms (W-4, I-9, W-9).
- Tools Proficiency: Prior experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, HRIS platforms, and collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams or Slack.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills suitable for direct interaction with US executives and candidates.
- Work Setup: High-speed, reliable internet connection and a dedicated quiet workstation suitable for full-time remote operations in US night shifts.
