Role Description This is a full-time, on-site uPVC Fabrication role based in Hyderabad. The uPVC Fabrication professional will be responsible for measuring, cutting, assembling, and finishing uPVC window and door frames according to technical drawings and project specifications. Daily tasks include operating fabrication machinery and hand tools, checking material quality, performing fitting and alignment, and ensuring products meet safety and performance standards. The role involves working closely with the production and installation teams, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and adhering to manufacturing timelines. The professional is expected to follow all safety protocols, participate in basic equipment maintenance, and support continuous improvement in fabrication processes.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in uPVC window and door fabrication, including cutting, welding, and assembling frames.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, measurements, and fabrication schedules.
- Proficiency in using fabrication machinery, power tools, and hand tools safely and accurately.
- Knowledge of basic quality control practices, including inspection of dimensions, finishes, and hardware fittings.
- Understanding of uPVC materials, hardware components, and installation requirements for windows and doors.
- Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and ability to work with precision under time constraints.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations, and ability to maintain production records.
- Commitment to workplace safety, including use of personal protective equipment and adherence to safety guidelines.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a workshop environment and communicate clearly with team members.
- Prior experience in fabrication, carpentry, or related construction manufacturing is preferred.
- Minimum high school education or equivalent; vocational training in fabrication or a related trade is an advantage.
