Role Description The Unpaid Sales Intern role at DairyDictionary is a full-time remote position supporting outreach and relationship-building activities. The intern will assist in identifying prospective users and partners, conducting virtual outreach, and presenting DairyDictionary’s offerings to potential audiences. Day-to-day tasks include communicating with leads via email or calls, maintaining contact lists and simple reports, and supporting basic sales processes under guidance from the sales team. The intern will also contribute to customer service by responding to inquiries, gathering feedback, and helping improve user experience. This role offers exposure to sales practices in a niche educational platform and opportunities for training and mentorship.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal interaction in a professional setting.
- Customer Service skills, with the ability to respond to questions, handle feedback, and support a positive user experience.
- Sales skills, such as prospecting, presenting offerings, and engaging potential users or partners.
- Interest or foundational skills in Training and Sales Management, including learning how to follow sales processes and support team initiatives.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and handle multiple tasks.
- Comfort using online tools for communication, CRM or spreadsheets, and virtual collaboration.
- Enthusiasm for learning about the dairy industry or educational content platforms is beneficial.
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a program in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not required.
