Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Legal Internship role based in New Delhi. The intern will assist advocates and solicitors with legal research, case law analysis, and preparation of briefs and notes for ongoing matters across diverse practice areas. Daily responsibilities include drafting and reviewing legal documents, compiling case files, and supporting the preparation of pleadings, submissions, and client communication under supervision. The role involves attending court hearings and proceedings as required, observing arguments, and assisting with follow-up actions, documentation, and hearing summaries. The intern will collaborate with the legal team to maintain organized records, stay updated on relevant legal developments, and contribute to client-focused, solution-oriented strategies.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Law and understanding of substantive and procedural legal principles.
- Ability to support Legal Consulting activities, including legal research, analysis, and advisory assistance.
- Competence in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, reviewing, and formatting legal documents and case files.
- Effective Communication skills, both written and verbal, for interaction with team members and preparation of clear legal notes.
- Capacity to identify, understand, and address Legal Issues across multiple practice areas.
- Enrollment in an accredited law program (preferably in senior years) or recent law graduate status.
- Attention to detail, strong analytical abilities, and commitment to ethical and professional conduct.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and MS Office; ability to manage time and multiple assignments efficiently.
