The Treasury Accountant will support the treasury and finance team with day-to-day cash operations, banking activities, reconciliations, intercompany recharges, reporting, and month-end close activities under supervision, while ensuring compliance with company policies, internal controls, and approval procedures.
Job Description
Support daily treasury activities, including cash positioning, bank balance monitoring, and preparation of cash position schedules.
Support month-end close activities relating to cash, bank, treasury transactions, and cash-related balance sheet reconciliations.
Prepare intercompany recharge schedules, supporting calculations, allocations, approvals, journal entries, and related support files.
Assist in preparing weekly and monthly treasury reports and maintain organized records of bank statements, payments, reports, and reconciliations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, diploma, in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
2–3 years of experience in accounting, finance, audit, treasury operations, or treasury support functions.
Basic understanding of accounting principles, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Exposure to ERP systems like SUN, Oracle, and SAP, treasury, banking processes, or intercompany accounting is advantageous but not mandatory.
Good analytical and numerical skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to follow procedures, maintain accurate records, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks.
Good communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills, with a strong sense of confidentiality and financial control.
Organized, proactive, and willing to learn across treasury, accounting, reporting, and ERP-related activities.
