Role Description The Travel Operations Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for end-to-end coordination of educational tours and travel programs. Day-to-day tasks include planning travel itineraries, managing bookings for transport, accommodation, and activities, and ensuring accurate documentation and timely confirmations. The role involves liaising with schools, students, parents, and travel partners, providing clear information, and resolving queries before and during trips. The executive monitors trip logistics, addresses on-ground operational issues, and supports safety and risk management procedures throughout the travel experience. This position also contributes to process improvements, cost efficiency, and quality standards in line with Happymiles’ commitment to safe, impactful student travel.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Travel Arrangements and Travel Management to handle bookings, itineraries, and logistical coordination.
- Candidates should possess experience in Travel Consulting, providing accurate guidance on destinations, itineraries, and program options.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to interact professionally with students, parents, educators, and vendors.
- Candidates should possess organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tours simultaneously.
- Relevant experience in travel operations, educational tours, or hospitality is beneficial, along with proficiency in basic office software and travel booking tools.
- A diploma or degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Management, or a related field is preferred; prior experience in a student-focused or learning environment is an advantage.
