Role Description The Travel Consultant (Domestic) will manage end-to-end domestic travel arrangements for guests and corporate clients, ensuring a smooth and efficient booking experience. This full-time, on-site role is based in Pune City and involves handling reservations for hotels, transport, and related services, as well as optimizing itineraries according to client requirements and budgets. The consultant will respond to inquiries, provide destination and product information, and offer recommendations that align with Vervve Hotels & Resorts’ standards of service. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with internal teams and external partners, updating booking systems, resolving any travel-related issues, and maintaining accurate records. The role also requires proactive communication, adherence to company policies, and continuous awareness of domestic travel trends and offerings.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Travel Consulting and Travel Management to advise clients and oversee complete travel plans.
- Candidates should possess skills in Travel Arrangements and Reservations to handle bookings, itineraries, and modifications efficiently.
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills to manage queries, provide support, and ensure a positive guest experience.
- Relevant experience in domestic travel operations, hospitality, or corporate travel management is beneficial.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with teams and partners.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and familiarity with booking tools or reservation systems.
- Ability to work on-site in Pune City and manage full-time responsibilities in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- A diploma or degree in Hospitality, Travel & Tourism, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
