Role Description The Travel Consultant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Rajkot. The Travel Consultant will assist clients with end-to-end travel planning, including understanding their requirements, suggesting suitable itineraries, and providing guidance on destinations, transportation, and accommodation options. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing travel arrangements, coordinating ticketing and hotel bookings, handling visa-related documentation, and ensuring seamless reservations across services. The role also involves delivering responsive customer service, resolving travel-related issues, maintaining accurate records in reservation systems, and collaborating with internal teams to meet corporate and individual client needs efficiently.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Travel Consulting and Travel Management to advise clients and manage complete travel plans.
- Candidates should possess skills in Travel Arrangements and Reservations to handle ticketing, hotel bookings, and itinerary coordination.
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills to respond to inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a positive client experience.
- Knowledge of visa processes, travel documentation, and basic travel insurance concepts is beneficial.
- Familiarity with GDS or travel booking platforms and proficiency in standard office software is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment are required.
- Relevant experience in the travel industry and a diploma or degree in travel, tourism, hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
