Role Description The Training Instructor role is a full-time remote position responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to learners preparing for risk management certifications and industry-focused skills. Day-to-day tasks include planning and conducting online training sessions, explaining complex risk concepts in clear, accessible language, and adapting teaching methods to diverse learner needs. The Training Instructor will develop and update training materials, collaborate with internal teams to align course content with industry standards, and support learners through Q&A sessions, feedback, and follow-up communication. The role also involves engaging with prospective learners, supporting enrollment and retention efforts, and contributing to continuous improvement of the training programs.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills for clear explanations, presentations, and learner engagement.
- Proven Training and Teaching skills in a professional or academic setting.
- Customer Service skills to support learners, respond to inquiries, and manage feedback.
- Sales skills to help promote courses, guide prospective learners, and support enrollment.
- Solid understanding of risk management concepts (e.g., Credit Risk, Market Risk, Liquidity Risk, Counterparty Credit Risk) and related models.
- Experience preparing for or teaching certification exams such as FRM, CFA, SCR, or RAI is highly beneficial.
- Comfort with remote delivery tools and learning platforms; ability to manage virtual classrooms effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field; advanced certifications in risk or finance are an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
