Key Responsibilities-
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons for secondary school students according to the prescribed curriculum.
- Assess student performance through assignments, quizzes, examinations, and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain classroom discipline, foster a positive learning environment, and promote student participation.
- Develop and update teaching materials, including worksheets, presentations, and supplementary resources.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and senior management to design interdisciplinary projects and school events.
- Monitor and report student progress to parents/guardians through regular parent‑teacher meetings.
- Participate in continuous professional development programs, workshops, and training sessions.
- Ensure compliance with school policies, safety regulations, and code of conduct.
Essential Qualifications-
- Graduate degree (B.A.) in English or related discipline from a recognized university.
- Eligibility for Teacher Training Certificate (TTC) or Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) is preferred.
- Proficiency in English language – both written and spoken.
- Familiarity with the Indian school curriculum (State Board/CBSE/ICSE).
