As a Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing solutions that improve test efficiency, coverage, and product quality across the automotive software development lifecycle.
⚡Key Responsibilities
✅ Integrate embedded software, ECUs, sensors, actuators, and communication networks (CAN, LIN, Ethernet)
✅ Design and implement automated test frameworks for:
🔹 Software-in-the-Loop (SIL)
🔹 Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL)
🔹 ECU Validation
🔹 Vehicle-Level Testing
✅ Develop automation scripts using:
🔹 Python
🔹 CAPL
🔹 Similar scripting technologies
✅ Automate regression testing for automotive applications across:
🔹 CAN
🔹 LIN
🔹 FlexRay
🔹 Ethernet
✅ Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines such as:
🔹 Jenkins
🔹 GitLab CI
✅ Configure and maintain HIL/SIL environments for efficient software release validation
✅ Ensure test coverage and requirements traceability using:
🔹 DOORS
🔹 Polarion
🔹 Jama
✅ Analyze test failures, perform root-cause investigations, and provide actionable feedback
✅ Support compliance with:
🔹 ASPICE
🔹 ISO 26262 Functional Safety Standards
✅ Collaborate with Software, Hardware, Suppliers, and Function Owners to streamline integration and testing activities
✅ Execute test bench integration involving ECUs, control units, sensors, actuators, and HIL systems
✅ Troubleshoot and validate automotive systems, simulators, and automation solutions for early issue detection
