Role: Automation QA Engineer (Python + Playwright)

What are we looking for!
We are seeking a passionate Automation QA Engineer with strong experience in test automation to design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Python and Playwright. The ideal candidate will have a product-oriented mindset, a deep understanding of testing best practices, and a strong focus on delivering high-quality, scalable software products.
Responsibilities
● Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Python and Playwright.
● Build and enhance test automation frameworks from the ground up.
● Write clear, maintainable, and scalable test scripts for web applications.
● Identify, document, and track bugs to resolution.
● Perform functional, regression, end-to-end, and cross-browser testing.
● Collaborate with developers to improve testability and code quality.
● Review test coverage and continuously improve test strategies.
● Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
Qualifications
● 3-5 years of experience in test automation.
● Strong proficiency in Python.
● Hands-on experience with Playwright for browser automation.
● Solid understanding of QA methodologies, testing types, and the SDLC.
● Experience with test frameworks such as pytest.
● Experience testing microservices architectures.
● Experience with Docker and containerized environments.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Good communication and collaboration abilities.
Good to have
● Knowledge of API testing (REST, tools like Postman or requests library).
● Experience with version control systems (Git).
● Knowledge of BDD frameworks (e.g., Behave, pytest-bdd).
● Experience with performance or load testing tools.
● Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
● Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
