Role Description The Technology Manager is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing the design, development, and operation of FedStone’s marketplace platform and related systems. This role involves coordinating software development efforts, managing technical projects from planning through delivery, and ensuring the platform’s reliability, security, and scalability. The Technology Manager will participate in running a global team and will collaborate with product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical roadmaps, prioritize features, and manage vendor and partner integrations. Day-to-day activities include guiding engineering teams, monitoring system performance, resolving technical issues, and implementing best practices in infrastructure, data management, and cybersecurity. The role also includes contributing to long-term technology strategy to support future verticals and growth.
Qualifications
- Strong Information Technology background with experience managing modern cloud-based platforms and underlying infrastructure.
- Software Development skills, including overseeing application architecture, APIs, and integration with third-party systems.
- Project Management capabilities to plan, execute, and deliver technology initiatives on time and within scope.
- Team Leadership and collaboration skills to guide technical teams, mentor contributors, and work effectively with cross-functional partners.
- Analytical Skills to interpret data, assess system performance, and make evidence-based decisions on technical improvements.
- Experience with security, compliance, and data protection practices relevant to government or enterprise environments is highly beneficial.
- Background in marketplaces, healthcare technology, or government contracting systems is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and communicate clearly in written and verbal form.
