Job Title: Manager – IT
Location: Manav Rachna International School, Mohali
Job Summary:
The IT Manager will oversee the school’s technology infrastructure, ensuring smooth functioning of all digital systems, networks, and hardware. The role involves managing IT operations, supporting teaching-learning technology, ensuring data security, and leading digital transformation initiatives within the institution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of all IT systems, networks, and software.
- Ensure data security, regular backups, and compliance with cybersecurity protocols.
- Manage and support smart classrooms, ERP systems, and digital learning platforms.
- Coordinate with vendors for IT procurement, AMC, and technical support.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues efficiently.
- Plan and execute IT upgrades and new implementations.
- Train staff and teachers on effective use of technology tools.
- Supervise IT support staff and manage helpdesk operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in IT management, preferably in an educational setup.
- Strong knowledge of networking, server management, and educational software.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in managing school ERP, LMS, CCTV, and biometric systems.
