Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Technician role based in Delhi, India. The Technician will install, configure, test, and commission audio-visual systems and related equipment at client sites, ensuring that solutions meet design specifications and performance standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include reading and interpreting technical drawings, performing cabling and hardware setup, conducting system checks, troubleshooting issues, and supporting senior engineers during project implementation. The role also involves preventive and corrective maintenance, preparing basic documentation and reports, and providing user support and guidance on system operation. The Technician will collaborate closely with project managers, designers, and other team members to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of AV projects in line with company processes and safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Strong technical aptitude in audio-visual systems, including installation, configuration, and basic programming of AV equipment and control systems.
- Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, technical drawings, and system schematics, with hands-on experience in cabling, rack building, and hardware mounting.
- Skills in troubleshooting and diagnosing AV system issues, using appropriate tools and methods to resolve hardware and connectivity problems.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals relevant to AV integration, such as IP addressing, switching, and basic configuration of networked AV devices.
- Understanding of quality, safety, and compliance standards, with the ability to follow structured project implementation and documentation processes.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, project teams, and vendors.
- Willingness to work on-site at client locations, occasionally outside standard hours, and to travel within the region as required.
- Diploma or degree in Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunications, or a related technical field; certifications in AV or networking (e.g., CTS, CCNA) are an advantage.
