Role Description The Technician at ABJ Forklift Training Academy is a full-time, on-site role based in Kochi. The Technician will support the setup, inspection, and basic maintenance of forklifts and other MHE equipment, ensuring they are safe and ready for daily use. Day-to-day tasks include performing routine checks, reporting and documenting equipment issues. The role may also involve coordinating equipment schedules, handling minor repairs under guidance, and following all safety protocols and procedures. The Technician works closely with trainers and administrative staff to ensure smooth operation of training programs and an effective learning environment.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform mechanical jobs inspections,Electrical jobs and routine maintenance on forklifts ,cranes and related equipment.
- Those who have electrical background on cranes,forklifts and heavy equipments will give priority.
- Basic technical aptitude, including comfort with tools, equipment manuals, and simple troubleshooting.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining training areas and equipment logs.
- Prior experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or equipment maintenance is an advantage.
- Relevant vocational training, technical certification, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Kochi, adapt to a training-focused environment, and support multiple sessions throughout the day.
