US IT Recruiter
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced US IT Recruiter to join our recruitment team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in sourcing, screening, and recruiting IT professionals for contract, contract-to-hire, and direct-hire positions across the United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Source qualified IT candidates through Dice, LinkedIn, Monster, CareerBuilder, Indeed, and other recruitment platforms.
- Review resumes and conduct initial candidate screening based on job requirements.
- Work closely with Account Managers and clients to understand job requirements and candidate expectations.
- Develop effective Boolean search strings to identify suitable candidates.
- Contact candidates through phone, email, LinkedIn, and other communication channels.
- Explain job responsibilities, contract details, compensation, location, and other requirements to candidates.
- Conduct technical and behavioral pre-screening interviews.
- Maintain accurate candidate information and recruitment activity in the ATS/VMS.
- Obtain necessary documentation such as Right to Represent (RTR), rate confirmation, work authorization, and availability.
- Coordinate candidate interviews and provide interview preparation.
- Follow up with candidates and clients throughout the recruitment and hiring process.
- Negotiate rates and offers when required.
- Maintain strong candidate relationships and build a reliable talent pipeline.
- Meet daily and weekly submission, interview, and placement targets.
- Stay updated on current IT technologies, skills, and US hiring trends.
Required Skills
- 2+ years of experience in US IT Recruitment.
- Strong knowledge of US staffing and recruitment processes.
- Experience recruiting for technologies such as Java, .NET, Salesforce, Data, Cloud, DevOps, Cybersecurity, Business Analysis, QA, and Infrastructure.
- Strong sourcing and Boolean search skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand technical job descriptions and evaluate candidate resumes.
- Experience working with ATS/VMS platforms.
- Strong negotiation, follow-up, and relationship-management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with State/Federal, Banking, Healthcare, or Fortune 500 clients.
- Experience with VMS platforms such as Beeline, Vector VMS, DotStaff, or similar systems.
- Familiarity with W2, C2C, 1099, Contract, Contract-to-Hire, and Direct Hire staffing models.
- Experience handling end-to-end recruitment from sourcing through onboarding.
