Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Technical Proposal Engineer role based in Noida. The Technical Proposal Engineer will be responsible for preparing detailed technical and commercial proposals for EPC and project execution opportunities in areas such as Green Hydrogen, renewable energy integration, and industrial decarbonization. Daily responsibilities include analyzing client requirements, reviewing technical specifications and tender documents, coordinating with engineering, procurement, and project teams, and developing compliant solution designs and cost estimates. The role involves drafting proposal documentation, method statements, scope of work, and project execution plans, as well as supporting bid strategies, risk assessment, and clarification responses. The Technical Proposal Engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders, maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant technologies and standards, and contribute to continuous improvement of proposal tools, templates, and processes.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare technical proposals and bid documents for EPC / EPIC projects
• Review tender documents, RFQs, ITTs, BOQs, specifications and scope of work
• Understand project requirements and prepare technical compliance statements
• Coordinate with Engineering, Estimation, Procurement, Contracts and other departments for bid inputs
• Prepare technical write-ups, methodology, execution plans and project-specific submissions
• Review drawings, specifications and technical documents to identify project requirements
• Prepare and compile technical bid submissions in line with client and tender requirements
• Coordinate with engineering teams and vendors for technical inputs, datasheets and supporting documents
• Identify technical deviations, exclusions, assumptions and clarifications during tender preparation
• Support estimation and commercial teams with technical inputs for cost preparation
• Ensure proposals are complete, accurate and submitted within tender deadlines
• Maintain records of tender documents, technical submissions and proposal-related correspondence
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and assist in responding to technical queries and clarifications
• Ensure compliance with client specifications, applicable codes, standards, quality and HSE requirements
Candidate Profile
✔ 5–7 years of relevant experience in Technical Proposal / Tendering / Bidding
✔ EPC / EPIC project experience is preferred
✔ Oil & Gas industry experience preferred
✔ Strong experience in preparation and submission of technical proposals for EPC projects
✔ Good understanding of tender documents, specifications, BOQs, scope of work and technical requirements
✔ Experience in coordinating with Engineering, Estimation, Procurement and Commercial teams
✔ Ability to review technical documents, drawings and client specifications
✔ Strong technical documentation and proposal-writing skills
✔ Experience with pre-bid queries, technical clarifications, deviations and compliance statements
✔ B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Civil/Electrical/Chemical or relevant engineering discipline preferred
✔ Willingness to work at PAN-India project locations, as per business/project requirements
