Role Description The Team Leader role is a full-time, on-site position based in India. The Team Leader oversees a field team, plans daily activities, assigns tasks, and monitors performance to ensure retail execution targets are met. Responsibilities include coordinating store visits, ensuring compliance with client requirements, tracking progress through reports, and resolving operational issues in real time. The role involves mentoring and coaching team members, conducting regular reviews, and maintaining clear communication with clients and internal stakeholders. The Team Leader also supports continuous improvement initiatives, helps implement new processes, and contributes to achieving overall project and business goals.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage field teams, with strong people management and coaching skills.
- Experience in retail operations, merchandising, or field services, preferably working with multiple stores or brand owners.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments.
- Good analytical and reporting abilities, including comfort with basic data analysis, performance tracking, and use of MS Office tools.
- Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with clients, team members, and management.
- Problem-solving mindset, adaptability to changing on-ground conditions, and willingness to take initiative and ownership.
- Comfort working on-site and traveling within assigned regions in India as required for store or field visits.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related field is preferred; relevant experience may substitute formal education.
