Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Chennai (ON-SITE ROLE). The Team Lead / Assistant Team Lead will be responsible for driving business growth in aviation aftermarket sales. This includes identifying and developing new opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and managing the sales pipeline from lead generation through closure. The role requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders to prepare proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
Daily responsibilities involve conducting market research, monitoring competitor and industry trends, maintaining accurate CRM records, and preparing regular sales reports and forecasts. The position also includes mentoring junior sales staff, supporting team performance targets, and contributing to strategic initiatives that expand 3TOP Aviation’s presence in key markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in aviation aftermarket sales.
- Build and maintain long‑term client relationships with airlines, lessors, OEMs, and MROs.
- Coordinate proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and manage customer communications.
- Conduct market research and track competitor/industry trends.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and prepare sales reports/forecasts.
- Mentor junior sales staff and support team performance targets.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives to expand market presence.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 4–5 years of experience in Aviation Aftermarket Sales / Business Development.
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer service capabilities to build lasting client relationships.
- Solid analytical and market research abilities to interpret data and identify opportunities.
- Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to present and negotiate effectively.
- Mandatory experience in aviation business development, sales, or account management.
- Proven ability to meet sales targets, manage pipelines, and collaborate in team‑focused environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field preferred (equivalent professional experience considered).
- Proficiency with CRM tools, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and reporting dashboards.
- Mandatory on‑site presence in Chennai
- Willingness to travel occasionally or as required for client meetings and industry events.
