Role Description The Team Lead Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Madurai, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations and leading a team to achieve performance and quality goals. This role includes planning and assigning work, monitoring productivity, and ensuring adherence to operational standards and company policies. The Team Lead Manager will guide, coach, and support team members, conduct regular performance reviews, and facilitate training to build skills and improve efficiency. The position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing workflow and resources, resolving escalated issues, and ensuring timely completion of tasks. The role also requires preparing reports, analyzing team metrics, and suggesting process improvements to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong team leadership and people management skills, including mentoring, performance coaching, and conflict resolution.
- Experience in operations or production management, preferably within manufacturing, automotive, or related industries.
- Proficiency in planning, organizing, and managing workflows, with attention to quality, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with internal stakeholders, distributors, and partners.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret data, track KPIs, and implement process improvements.
- Comfort with using basic computer applications and reporting tools; familiarity with ERP or inventory systems is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, operations management, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in a supervisory or team lead role and knowledge of commercial vehicle components or automotive supply chains are beneficial.
