Role Description The Team Leader at Frontline Traders is a full-time role. Are you a skilled HVAC professional who excels at both technical troubleshooting and leading teams on the ground?
Frontline Traders is hiring an experienced HVAC Team Leader to oversee daily field operations. You will manage technician teams executing commercial and residential air conditioning projects (VRF/VRV, Ductable, Chilled Water) while ensuring fast, efficient resolution of service breakdown and complaint calls. supervising day-to-day operations, coordinating tasks, and guiding team members to meet performance and service targets. This hybrid position is based in Agra, with a combination of on-site work. The Team Leader will oversee workload allocation, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to company standards and procedures. Daily responsibilities include coaching and supporting team members, resolving operational issues, maintaining accurate reports, and collaborating with management to implement process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
* Daily Field Operations: Assign daily tasks, deploy technician teams, and oversee on-site work quality and safety protocols (PPE, LOTO).
* Project Execution: Lead ducting, piping, pressure testing, evacuation, and final commissioning for air conditioning installations. Coordinate site readiness with electrical/civil contractors.
* Service & Complaint Resolution: Diagnose complex technical issues (Inverter PCB errors, refrigerant leaks, compressor faults) and ensure service calls are resolved on the first visit.
* Team Guidance: Conduct morning toolbox talks, mentor junior technicians, and maintain daily digital job sheets and site inventories. The role also involves communicating with internal and external stakeholders, supporting customer-focused initiatives, and fostering a positive, inclusive work environment.
Qualifications
* Education: Diploma / ITI / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (RAC).
* Experience: 4 to 6 years in HVAC contracting, with at least 1–2 years supervising site crews.
* Technical Skills: Strong hands-on expertise in VRF/VRV systems, chilled water systems, control panel troubleshooting, and reading piping/electrical schematics.
* Soft Skills: Strong leadership, client communication, and problem-solving skills under pressure.
* Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between site locations.
