We are looking for a Middle Oracle OSS Engineer to support a telecommunications service fulfillment platform covering FTTx, 5G, Mobile, and Fixed services.
The role will focus on the configuration, administration, integration, workflow implementation, automation, release management, and production support of Oracle OSS solutions, particularly around order management, inventory, and network provisioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, maintain, and support Oracle OSS platform modules, including:
- Oracle OSM
- Oracle UIM
- Oracle ASAP
- Oracle SOM
- Oracle Design Studio
- Implement and maintain order management, service provisioning, and inventory workflows for telecom network services.
- Integrate Oracle OSS components with internal enterprise systems and third-party partner applications.
- Develop automation scripts and processes to improve and streamline network operations.
- Support release management and production deployments.
- Troubleshoot technical incidents and perform root cause analysis.
- Monitor application and platform performance to ensure agreed SLAs are achieved.
- Collaborate with technical, network, and enterprise integration teams to resolve operational and integration issues.
Mandatory Skills
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Oracle OSS application design, administration, development, or integration.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language:
- Hands-on experience with one or more core Oracle OSS products:
- OSM
- UIM
- ASAP
- SOM
- Design Studio
- Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL, preferably with:
- Understanding of telecommunications service fulfillment concepts.
- Knowledge of network management principles and network protocols.
- Understanding of enterprise system integration concepts.
- English proficiency at B1+ level or above.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience working on major OSS platform upgrades.
- Experience with software acquisition or transformation projects in the telecommunications industry.
- Exposure to large-scale telecom OSS environments.
- Experience with automation and modern DevOps practices would be an advantage.
