About the Role
We are looking for an experienced T24 Functional Tester with strong expertise in Temenos T24 Core Banking and Lending/Loans modules. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in functional testing of banking applications, ensuring high-quality delivery across lending products and end-to-end business processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional, integration, system, regression, smoke, and UAT testing for T24 Core Banking applications.
- Validate end-to-end lending lifecycle including loan origination, approval, disbursement, repayment, restructuring, settlement, and closure.
- Prepare and execute detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
- Review business requirements, functional specifications, and identify test coverage.
- Execute defect reporting, tracking, and verification using defect management tools.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and Project Managers in an Agile environment.
- Validate interfaces and integrations between T24 and surrounding banking systems.
- Participate in sprint planning, requirement walkthroughs, and defect triage meetings.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations and business requirements.
- Support SIT, UAT, and production validation activities.
Required Skills
- 6–10 years of software testing experience.
- Strong experience in Temenos T24 Core Banking.
- Hands-on testing experience in Lending and Loans modules.
- Strong understanding of loan products, interest calculations, repayment schedules, collateral management, and loan servicing.
- Experience in functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing.
- Good understanding of banking business processes.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum projects.
- Familiarity with SQL for backend validation.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or ALM.
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Banking domain experience is mandatory.
- Experience with Temenos Transact (T24) implementations or upgrades is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of APIs and interface testing is an advantage.

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in testing payment processing applications, ensuring seamless transaction flows across domestic and international payment channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional, integration, regression, system, smoke, and UAT testing for T24 Payments.
- Validate end-to-end payment processing workflows across various payment channels.
- Test domestic and international payment transactions.
- Validate payment lifecycle including initiation, processing, settlement, reversals, and reconciliation.
- Review business requirements and prepare comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform interface testing with payment gateways and external banking systems.
- Execute backend validation using SQL where required.
- Log, track, and verify defects through defect management tools.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product Owners throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Support SIT, UAT, production validation, and release activities.
Required Skills
- 6–10 years of software testing experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in Temenos T24 Payments.
- Excellent understanding of banking payment systems and payment processing.
- Experience with payment message validation and payment lifecycle testing.
- Strong experience in functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing.
- Experience working with APIs and interface testing.
- Knowledge of SQL for backend validation.
- Experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, ALM, or similar test management tools.
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Banking domain experience is mandatory.
- Experience testing payment interfaces and integrations.
- Knowledge of payment standards such as SWIFT, ISO 20022, or local payment systems will be an added advantage.
- Experience with Temenos Transact (T24) implementations or upgrades is preferred.
