We are actively hiring for a Systems Administrator – Technology Operations to join our Core Infrastructure & Control Room team in Chennai.
Key Role Details:
- Role: Systems Administrator – Technology Operations
- Employment Type: Permanent / Full-Time (Direct Hire with Walmart)
- Work Location: Chennai * Work Model: 5 Days Work from Office
- Shift Model: 24x7 Rotational Shifts (Supporting high-availability global systems)
Position Overview
In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining the stability and health of Walmart’s global technology infrastructure. Working in our state-of-the-art Control Room, you will oversee and monitor over 250,000 daily batch jobs, manage z/OS mainframe environments, handle job abends via Control-M, and resolve incidents in ServiceNow following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
What We Are Looking For:
- 1–3 years of experience in technology operations, control room, or mainframe system administration.
- Hands-on familiarity with mainframe environments (z/OS) and basic JCL concepts.
- Experience with job scheduling and workload automation tools (specifically Control-M).
- Hands-on experience using ServiceNow for incident logging and ticket management.
- Flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced 24x7 rotational shift environment.
