🚀 Hiring: OpenShift Support Engineer 🚀
📍 Location: Noida (Onsite)
⏰ Shift: 24x7 Rotational Shifts
💼 Experience: 2–3 Years
We are looking for an OpenShift Support Engineer (L1) to provide first-line support for a production Red Hat OpenShift platform. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with OpenShift/Kubernetes environments, Linux administration, and incident management.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Monitor OpenShift cluster, node, and pod health
✅ Respond to alerts, incidents, and service requests within SLA
✅ Troubleshoot pod and workload issues (CrashLoopBackOff, Pending, ImagePullBackOff, Evicted, etc.)
✅ Perform routine platform operations using oc/kubectl and OpenShift Console
✅ Manage namespaces, resource quotas, RBAC requests, and storage monitoring
✅ Support application teams with deployments and access requests
✅ Maintain runbooks, shift handovers, and knowledge base documentation
Required Skills:
🔹 2–3 years of OpenShift or Kubernetes support experience
🔹 Strong understanding of Pods, Deployments, Services, Routes, ConfigMaps, Secrets, and PVCs
🔹 Hands-on experience with oc and kubectl commands
🔹 Linux Administration (RHEL/CentOS)
🔹 Basic Networking (DNS, TCP/IP, Load Balancing, Ingress/Routing)
🔹 Experience with ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, or similar ticketing tools
🔹 Basic Shell Scripting
Preferred Skills:
⭐ RHCSA or OpenShift Certification
⭐ Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager
⭐ Jenkins, Tekton, GitLab CI, ArgoCD
⭐ Helm
⭐ Experience working in a 24x7 support environment
