About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager with prior experience in the pet care or pet retail industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless procurement, inventory management, warehousing, and distribution while maintaining product availability across all sales channels.
Key Responsibilities
-Plan and manage end-to-end supply chain operations.
-Forecast demand and maintain optimum inventory levels.
-Coordinate with vendors, manufacturers, and logistics partners.
-Manage procurement and negotiate with suppliers.
-Monitor stock movement, replenishment, and inventory accuracy.
-Ensure timely deliveries to warehouses, retail stores, and e-commerce channels.
-Optimize supply chain costs while maintaining service levels.
-Track KPIs such as fill rate, inventory turnover, lead time, and stock availability.
-Collaborate with sales, warehouse, finance, and operations teams.
-Ensure compliance with quality standards and company policies.
Requirements
-3–6 years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Logistics.
-Mandatory experience in the Pet Care/Pet Retail industry.
-Strong knowledge of inventory planning and warehouse operations.
-Excellent vendor management and negotiation skills.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/inventory management systems.
-Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
Preferred
Experience managing multiple retail outlets.
Familiarity with pet food, pet accessories, and veterinary product supply chains.
