Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and student-focused Student Affairs Manager to oversee student welfare, engagement, grievance resolution, and student support services. The role will be responsible for ensuring a positive student experience, coordinating with academic and administrative teams, supporting student activities, managing student affairs processes, and maintaining compliance with university policies and requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Ensure timely redressal of student queries and concerns
• Liaise with the Student Affairs Coordinator for required interventions and guide parents when necessary.
• Promote and monitor student participation in surveys
• Encourage student involvement in engagement and enrichment activities
• Coordinate with faculty and leadership on behavioral or disciplinary issues and implement committee recommendations
• Monitor attendance, punctuality, and grooming/uniform compliance, and map processes for accountability.
• Coordinate with Housing Coordinators, Wardens, and Matrons to ensure appropriate student housing and welfare support.
• Provide timely, accurate, and professional responses to students, parents, and other stakeholders.
• Support student clubs, events, and initiatives that enhance campus life and sense of belonging
• Collaborate with Marketing/PR teams to highlight student achievements, events, and success stories
• Coordinate alumni engagement activities, including alumni networking, mentoring, and events
• Interpret and implement university policies and regulations related to student affairs.
• Monitor student attendance and punctuality in compliance with program requirements.
• Provide evidence, reports, and metrics on student services for self-studies, program evaluations, and accreditation visits.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in any relevant discipline
- Minimum10+ years in Student Affairs or a related administrative role
- Hands-on experience in Student Engagement is a must
- Strong communication skills across students, parents & faculty
