Job details:
Concept Marketing is a Perth-based digital marketing agency with 25+ years of experience working across a broad range of Australian and international clients. We are looking for a Senior Paid Social Manager to join our offshore team, working closely with our Australian head office to plan, build, manage, and report on Meta advertising campaigns across the full client portfolio.
This is a senior, hands-on role. You will own Meta delivery from strategy through to execution. You will be expected to work independently, communicate clearly, diagnose problems across the full funnel, and apply instructions without needing them repeated.
What You Will Do
Campaign Strategy and Architecture
- Build, launch, and optimise Meta ad campaigns across Facebook and Instagram for multiple clients simultaneously
- Structure campaigns correctly from the ground up, including objectives, ad sets, audiences, placements, budgets, and bidding strategies
- Know when to consolidate campaigns versus segment them, and understand how Meta's auction and delivery system responds to structural decisions
- Use campaign budget optimisation versus ad set budget optimisation strategically, not by default
- Manage ad fatigue cycles and rotate creative proactively before performance drops
- Manage frequency intentionally across funnel stages
- Run all campaign types including lead generation, conversion, awareness, retargeting, and traffic
Audience and Signal Strategy
- Build and maintain a clean, organised custom audience library across all client accounts
- Develop full-funnel audience strategy including custom audiences, lookalikes, retargeting segments, and exclusion logic
- Understand audience overlap and apply exclusion logic correctly
- Use value-based lookalikes where purchase or lead quality data exists
- Know when broad targeting with strong creative outperforms narrow audience targeting, and test accordingly
- Understand Advantage+ audiences and when to use or constrain them
Tracking, Technical Setup, and Data Integrity
- Implement and verify the Meta Pixel, Conversions API, and custom events
- Configure Aggregated Event Measurement correctly post-iOS 14
- Set up GA4 goals and conversion tracking and connect these to campaign reporting
- Maintain accurate and consistent UTM structures across all campaigns
- Troubleshoot tracking issues independently before escalating
- Understand the differences between Meta-reported data, GA4 data, and actual CRM or backend conversions, and be able to explain the gap clearly
- Set up and interpret Meta Attribution Settings correctly based on business type and sales cycle
- Know the limitations of iOS 14+ signal loss and apply practical responses including first-party data strategy
- Identify when data is unreliable and flag it rather than report it as fact
Ad Creative
- Brief designers and copywriters with enough specificity that the output is usable without rework
- Write ad copy that is direct, on-brand, and built to convert
- Read creative performance data and identify whether an issue is the hook, the body, the CTA, the format, or the audience mismatch
- Understand the difference between a scroll-stop problem and a conversion problem
- Structure creative testing with a clear hypothesis, not random variation
- Review creative performance and feed learnings back into briefing
Problem Solving and Diagnosis
- Diagnose performance issues across the full funnel, from impression through to conversion, before escalating or reporting a problem
- Review landing pages before campaigns go live and flag conversion issues proactively
- Understand that a low conversion rate is not always a media problem and communicate clearly to the relevant team what needs to change and why
- Read client performance in the context of the business, not just the platform
- Factor in seasonality, sales cycles, and external variables when interpreting results
- Do not over-claim credit for results or under-explain causes of decline
- Surface issues early with context and a recommended next step, not just a notification that something is wrong
Reporting
- Prepare clear, accurate performance reports for the Australian team on a regular cadence
- Report against agreed KPIs including cost per lead, ROAS, CTR, conversion rate, and spend efficiency
- Present data with interpretation, not just numbers
- Flag anomalies and performance shifts proactively, not reactively
Staying Current
- Keep up with Meta platform changes, new ad formats, and algorithm updates as they happen
- Test new features including Advantage+, Advantage+ creative, and AI-driven tools with intent, not just because they are available
- Understand where Meta's automated tools perform well and where they need to be constrained or overridden
Account Hygiene and Documentation
- Maintain clear naming conventions, account notes, and change logs so anyone can pick up an account and understand its history
- Document what has been tested, what worked, and what was ruled out
- Treat account hygiene as a non-negotiable, not an optional extra
Organic and Scheduled Social (Desirable)
- Support content scheduling and organic planning using tools such as Sked Social or equivalent
- Coordinate scheduling of content across client accounts in line with approved content calendars
Communication and Collaboration
- Work directly with the Australian team via scheduled check-ins and async communication
- Follow briefs and documented instructions accurately without requiring clarification on previously covered ground
- Ask the right questions upfront and then execute without hand-holding
- Communicate issues early and clearly, with context and a recommended course of action
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum 10+ years of hands-on Meta Ads experience managing multiple accounts simultaneously
- Strong technical knowledge of Ads Manager, Business Manager, Meta Events Manager, and Conversions API
- Solid understanding of GA4, conversion tracking, attribution, and UTM structure
- Experience with full-funnel campaign strategy, audience architecture, and creative testing frameworks
- Ability to diagnose performance problems across media, creative, tracking, and landing page without being directed to do so
- Excellent written English communication skills
- High attention to detail across naming conventions, tracking, budgets, and reporting
- Proven ability to work independently within a remote team structure
- Experience working with or reporting to teams in a different time zone, ideally Australia
Desirable
- Experience using Sked Social or a comparable scheduling platform
- Organic social content planning experience
- Agency environment experience managing multiple client accounts
What We Expect From You
This role requires someone who can read a brief, understand the objective, and execute correctly the first time. We document our processes, and we expect them to be followed. We give feedback once, and we expect it to be applied. If something is unclear, we expect you to ask before you start, not after you have finished.
When something is not working, we expect you to investigate, form a view, and bring a recommendation. We do not expect perfection, but we do expect ownership. We are not looking for someone to be managed. We are looking for someone who manages their own work to a high standard, communicates when it matters, and makes the Australian team's job easier, not harder.
Reporting Structure & Team Interaction
You will report to the Head of Digital Services. This is primarily a non-client-facing role, requiring close collaboration with the Digital & Marketing Team in Perth and the digital and web team based in Coimbatore.
Weekly Meetings and briefing sessions will be conducted, along with workflow and task updates through Monday.com. Training on Monday.com will be provided for seamless team integration.
Work Location:
This is a full-time role (Monday–Friday) based in our Coimbatore office. As we collaborate closely with our Perth team, your working hours will be 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM IST to align with their schedule.
