Role Description The Structured Products Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This role is responsible for designing, analyzing, and managing structured financial products aligned with the company’s strategic objectives and client requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating market data, modeling product performance, supporting trading and investment decisions, and contributing to portfolio construction and risk management. The specialist collaborates with internal stakeholders to develop product proposals, prepare client presentations, and ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies. The position also involves continuous monitoring of existing products, identifying optimization opportunities, and documenting processes and analyses for transparent reporting.
Qualifications
- Strong foundational knowledge in Finance, including understanding of capital markets, risk, and return.
- Proficiency in Structured Finance concepts, including securitization, derivatives-based products, and cash-flow modeling.
- Experience with Investments and Portfolio Management, including asset allocation, performance evaluation, and risk-adjusted return analysis.
- Familiarity with Trading-related activities such as pricing, liquidity assessment, and market execution considerations for structured products.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including proficiency in spreadsheets and financial modeling tools; knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, R, or VBA) is an advantage.
- Ability to interpret complex financial data, prepare clear reports, and communicate concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Attention to detail, high level of accuracy, and capacity to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, on-site team environment.
- Prior experience in structured products, investment banking, asset management, or treasury functions is beneficial.
