Role Description The String Rework Module Rework role at Knack Energy Pvt. Ltd. is a full-time, on-site position based in Kadi. The role involves inspecting solar PV module strings for defects, performing rework and repair tasks, and ensuring that modules meet defined quality and performance standards before final assembly or dispatch. Responsibilities include using appropriate tools and equipment for string rework, following standard operating procedures, documenting rework activities, and coordinating with production and quality teams to minimize rework and improve process efficiency. The individual will adhere to safety guidelines, maintain a clean work area, and support continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing facility.
Qualifications
- Ability to inspect and identify defects in solar PV module strings and components, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Hands-on skills in basic electrical and mechanical handling of PV modules, including safe use of tools and rework equipment.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, quality standards, and standard operating procedures in a production environment.
- Capacity to follow technical instructions, maintain clear documentation of rework activities, and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Commitment to workplace safety, housekeeping, and adherence to company policies and quality requirements.
- Prior experience in solar module manufacturing, electronics assembly, or related industrial work is an advantage.
- Minimum educational background in ITI, diploma, or equivalent in electrical, mechanical, or relevant field preferred.
- Willingness to work in shifts and collaborate in a fast-paced, goal-oriented manufacturing setup.
