Role Description This full-time Store Merchandiser role is an on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The Store Merchandiser is responsible for planning and executing visual merchandising and product displays that align with PSL’s luxury brand standards and enhance the in-store customer experience. Daily tasks include coordinating product placement, monitoring stock levels on the floor, and ensuring that collections are presented in a compelling, trend-focused manner. The role involves collaborating with store management and sales teams to support promotional activities, track product performance, and maintain brand consistency across all visual elements. The Store Merchandiser also gathers customer and store feedback to optimize layouts and improve sell-through of key pieces and collections.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage effectively with internal teams and support a premium client experience.
- Proven Sales and Retail skills to understand store dynamics, product performance, and merchandising strategies that drive conversions.
- Marketing awareness and the ability to align in-store displays with ongoing campaigns and brand positioning.
- Attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics, with an understanding of luxury fashion and current trends.
- Ability to work on-site full-time in Ahmedabad, manage time efficiently, and adapt in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Prior experience in fashion retail, merchandising, or visual merchandising is preferred.
- Basic proficiency in inventory tracking and reporting; familiarity with retail systems is an advantage.
- Diploma or degree in Fashion, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related field is beneficial.
