Role Description
- Manage overall store operations, including receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining inventory.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP software and Tally.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, and project teams for material planning and dispatch.
- Perform regular stock verification, cycle counts, and inventory audits.
- Ensure proper documentation of inward and outward material movements.
- Minimise inventory discrepancies, wastage, and material loss.
- Maintain proper storage practices and ensure housekeeping and safety standards within the store.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and stock reports.
- Coordinate with vendors and transport teams for material receipt and dispatch.
Skills & Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience as a Store Manager/Store In-Charge, preferably in the interior, construction, manufacturing, or building materials industry.
- Hands-on experience with Tally ERP and other ERP software.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management and store operations.
- Good understanding of stock reconciliation and documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting.
- Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- A bachelor’s degree or diploma in any relevant discipline is preferred.
- Experience in construction, factory or warehouse store management is an added advantage.
