Role Description
We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Store Manager to oversee day-to-day store operations, lead and manage the team, handle inventory, drive sales, and ensure an exceptional customer experience. Retail experience from any sector is welcome.
Location: Sector 109 Gurgaon, Haryana
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage complete store operations, including opening/closing, daily sales targets, and customer service.
- Lead, train, motivate, and manage the store team to ensure smooth operations and high performance.
- Handle inventory management, including ordering, receiving, merchandising, vendor management and regular stock checks.
- Drive sales through promotions, upselling, and customer engagement.
- Ensure store cleanliness, safety standards, and visual merchandising.
- Resolve customer complaints and build long-term customer relationships.
- Monitor sales reports, expenses, and KPIs, and report to HQ.
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely deliveries and manage petty cash.
- Handle POS systems, billing, and basic administrative tasks.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduation is mandatory.
- Minimum 1–2 years of proven retail/store management experience.
- Prior team-handling and people-management experience is mandatory.
- Strong leadership, customer service, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of Excel and POS/inventory systems.
- Good communication skills in English and Hindi.
- The candidate must be comfortable with extended working hours if required as per business requirements.
- Candidates based in Gurgaon are preferred.
- Passion for pets is a plus.
