Role Description This is a full-time Pharmacist and Store Manager role based in Varanasi with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some tasks to be performed from home. The role involves overseeing daily pharmacy operations, including prescription verification, accurate dispensing of medications, counseling patients on proper usage, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards. The Pharmacist and Store Manager will manage inventory, monitor stock levels, coordinate procurement, and implement retail loss prevention measures to minimize shrinkage. Responsibilities include supervising staff, organizing work schedules, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and ensuring that customer service standards are consistently met. The role also requires maintaining documentation, reporting store performance, and collaborating with management to improve processes and support business growth.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to maintain high levels of Customer Satisfaction and deliver consistent, professional Customer Service.
- Strong Communication skills for interacting with customers, healthcare professionals, and team members.
- Experience or aptitude in Store Management, including inventory control, staff oversight, and daily operations.
- Understanding of Retail Loss Prevention practices to reduce shrinkage and safeguard store assets.
- Licensed Pharmacist (as per local regulatory requirements), with thorough knowledge of prescription medications, drug interactions, and pharmacy law.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Comfort with basic digital tools and pharmacy management software for billing, records, and inventory tracking.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setting, balancing on-site responsibilities in Varanasi with remote tasks as needed.
- Previous experience in community pharmacy or healthcare retail is preferred but not mandatory.
