💼 Role: Sr. Software Engineer (iOS)
📍 Location: Ahmedabad (Work from Office)
🎓 Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
Role Overview:
We are looking for a Sr. Software Engineer (iOS) who builds with AI, not just alongside it. If you have genuinely integrated AI tools like Claude, OpenAI Codex, and GitHub Copilot into your daily coding workflow and can architect and ship production-grade iOS applications using Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit, we want to talk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end architecture of significant iOS features or modules; make informed build vs. buy decisions.
- Drive app performance - launch time, memory, battery - with profiling-backed, measurable improvements.
- Lead technical design reviews, mentor SDE 2 engineers & elevate team engineering standards.
- Establish coding conventions, modularisation strategy & release engineering practices for the iOS codebase.
- Own App Store release process end-to-end; manage provisioning, review escalations & launch readiness.
- Partner with product and design to define technical feasibility, scope, & platform constraints.
- Break down complex epics into actionable milestones; align cross-functional delivery timelines.
AI-FIRST
- Champion Claude (Anthropic), OpenAI Codex, and GitHub Copilot adoption across the iOS team; define team-wide AI development workflow standards.
- Architect on-device AI pipelines using Core ML and Apple Intelligence APIs; evaluate model hosting, compression, and inference strategy.
- Define telemetry and evaluation strategy for AI features in production — accuracy, latency, and engagement metrics.
- Enforce responsible AI standards — on-device inference preference, privacy-preserving design, and App Review compliance for AI features.
