Role: Sr. Manager/DGM IT

Location: Gurugram.
We are seeking an experienced IT Head to lead and manage the end-to-end IT function of our client's textile manufacturing and export organization. The role will be responsible for defining and executing IT strategy, ensuring stable and secure IT operations, managing ERP and supporting business growth through automation across all locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define, implement, and continuously improve the overall IT strategy aligned with business objectives and growth plans.
- Lead and manage day-to-day IT operations ensuring minimal downtime and quick issue resolution.
- Establish IT policies, SOPs, controls, and governance frameworks to ensure standardization, compliance, and risk mitigation.
- Manage ERP systems (implementation, upgrades, enhancements, integrations, and performance).
- Ensure smooth functioning, data accuracy, role-based access, and availability of ERP and all business applications.
- Manage IT infrastructure including servers, networks, databases, storage, hardware, and cloud services across head office and factory locations.
- Ensure robust cybersecurity measures, access controls, firewall management, endpoint security, and regular vulnerability assessments.
- Plan and implement backup, disaster recovery (DR), and business continuity strategies.
- Drive continuous improvements in service delivery and system reliability.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the internal IT team to build strong technical and functional capabilities.
- Manage external vendors, consultants, system integrators, and AMC partners.
- Oversee IT procurement, asset management, license management, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Establish and enforce data security policies and controls to safeguard company information, ensure secure access management, maintain data confidentiality, protect against unauthorized usage, and conduct regular data security awareness sessions for employees.
- Develop, implement, and periodically update SOPs for IT asset issuance, tracking, maintenance, handover, recovery, and exit purchase during employee separation or role changes, ensuring compliance across locations through regular monitoring and periodic audits.
- Conduct regular IT skill gap analysis for the IT team and end users across the organization, and design and deliver training programs aligned with new IT developments, system upgrades, cybersecurity awareness, and effective usage of IT tools.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong hands-on knowledge of ERP systems, IT infrastructure, networking, databases, and cybersecurity.
- Sound understanding of IT governance, controls, audit readiness, and compliance requirements.
- Experience in manufacturing, textile, apparel, or export-oriented environments ONLY.
- Strong leadership, team management, and stakeholder management skills.
