Role Description The Sports Physiotherapist (Reformer Pilates) is a full-time, on-site role based at Core & Calm in Civil Lines, Delhi, India. The role involves assessing clients’ musculoskeletal conditions, designing individualized rehabilitation and performance programs, and delivering reformer Pilates sessions that integrate physiotherapy principles. Daily tasks include conducting detailed physical evaluations, monitoring progress, adjusting exercise plans as needed, and maintaining accurate treatment records. The physiotherapist will collaborate with other wellness professionals, educate clients on injury prevention and safe movement patterns, and contribute to a positive, calming studio experience. Additional responsibilities may include participating in workshops or classes, supporting client onboarding, and ensuring equipment safety and hygiene.
Qualifications
- Professional qualification in Physiotherapy (Bachelor’s or Master’s in Physiotherapy or equivalent) with current registration or eligibility to practice.
- Specialization or strong experience in sports physiotherapy, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, and exercise-based therapy.
- Formal training or certification in Pilates, preferably Reformer Pilates, and the ability to integrate physiotherapy principles into Pilates-based programs.
- Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills for designing individualized treatment and performance enhancement plans.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in clear, accessible language.
- Demonstrated ability to work hands-on with clients in an on-site studio setting, including safe manual handling and corrective cueing.
- Comfort working with diverse client populations, including athletes, individuals recovering from injury, and those seeking general wellness.
- Commitment to holistic health, mindfulness, and client-centered care, with a professional and empathetic approach.
- Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary wellness team and contribute to workshops, group classes, or community events.
- Basic digital literacy for maintaining records, scheduling, and client follow-up; prior experience in boutique studios or wellness centers is an advantage.
