Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Speech Language Pathologist role based in Kottayam. The Speech Language Pathologist will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in neurodiverse children and adults. Daily responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing individualized therapy plans, delivering evidence-based speech and language therapy sessions, and monitoring progress. The role involves collaborating with caregivers and other professionals, maintaining accurate documentation, and providing education and guidance to families. The Speech Language Pathologist will contribute to a multidisciplinary team focused on improving functional communication and overall well-being.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Speech Therapy and management of Speech-related concerns.
- Candidates should possess skills in assessing and treating Communication Disorders.
- Candidates should possess skills in evaluating and treating Language Disorders.
- Candidates should possess skills in identifying and managing Dysphagia.
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent, with relevant licensure/registration as required.
- Experience working with neurodiverse populations (e.g., autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, speech delay) is highly beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal, counseling, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to maintain clear documentation, use evidence-based practices, and communicate effectively with families and caregivers.
