DEERPATCH is a fast-growing value-fashion brand offering trendy and affordable Menswear, Womenswear, and Kidswear at prices ranging from ₹99 to ₹999. We are building India's next large-scale fashion retail chain.
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Merchandiser to manage product development, vendor coordination, costing, order execution, and production follow-up across Menswear, Womenswear, and Kidswear categories.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with design, sourcing, and production teams for product development.
- Manage the complete order lifecycle from sampling to final delivery.
- Follow up with vendors and factories to ensure timely production and shipment.
- Prepare costing sheets and negotiate with suppliers to achieve target margins.
- Monitor sampling, approvals, production status, and quality standards.
- Analyze sales trends and market demand to support product planning.
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, production schedules, and deliveries.
- Ensure products meet DEERPATCH's quality, fit, and price requirements.
- Work closely with suppliers to resolve production and quality issues.
- Support seasonal range planning and assortment development.
Requirements
- Graduate in Fashion, Textile, Apparel, or related field.
- 2-6 years of merchandising experience in apparel or fashion industry.
- Strong knowledge of garment manufacturing, fabrics, trims, costing, and production processes.
- Good communication and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and merchandising tools.
- Ability to manage multiple vendors and deadlines simultaneously.
Preferred Candidate
- Experience in Menswear, Womenswear, or Kidswear merchandising.
- Strong network of garment manufacturers and suppliers.
- Experience with retail brands, export houses, buying offices, or garment manufacturers.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
