Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sourcer role based in Udaipur. The Sourcer will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and onboarding suppliers to support ProcMart’s diverse procurement needs across multiple categories and industries. Day-to-day activities include researching potential vendors, collecting and comparing quotations, negotiating pricing and terms, and maintaining accurate supplier records. The role also entails collaborating with internal teams to understand material requirements, ensuring timely fulfillment, and monitoring supplier performance to meet quality, cost, and delivery standards. The Sourcer will contribute to continuous improvement in sourcing processes and support strategic procurement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong supplier research and vendor evaluation skills, including the ability to analyze quotations and assess market trends.
- Candidates should possess negotiation and cost optimization skills, with experience in securing competitive pricing and favorable commercial terms.
- Candidates should possess data analysis and reporting skills, including proficiency with spreadsheets or procurement tools to track offers, orders, and performance metrics.
- Candidates should possess communication and stakeholder management skills to coordinate effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
- Candidates should possess organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple sourcing requests and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred; relevant experience in procurement or sourcing is an advantage.
- Knowledge of MRO categories or industrial supplies, and familiarity with e-procurement platforms or ERP systems, will be beneficial.
