- Knows Writing lyrics that naturally fit a pre-composed melody
- Has a Strong understanding of meter, syllable count, phrasing and rhythmic placement
- Knowing how lyrics should sit within a musical arrangement
- Has Ability to write lines that are singable, memorable and emotionally engaging
- Has an understanding of rhyme, internal rhyme, lyrical flow and structure
- Has an experience adapting the language and messaging of a brand/organisation into an authentic song.
- Pays attention to the intricate relationship between words, melody and musical phrasing
Experience in writing corporate anthems, jingles, film songs, advertising music or commercial songwriting would be highly valuable.
