Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Software Technical Product Owner to support the design and development of service platforms and software products that enable effective troubleshooting, maintenance, and diagnostics of Cytiva products.
This contractor position is part of the Digital Technology & Service Innovation team and requires the selected candidate to work onsite at the Cytiva JFWTC office in Bangalore.
Key Responsibilities
• Partner with Product Managers and stakeholders to define product strategy, roadmaps, priorities, and business outcomes.
• Own and prioritize the product backlog based on customer needs, business value, technical debt, risks, and compliance requirements.
• Translate business and customer requirements into actionable user stories and clear acceptance criteria.
• Drive backlog refinement and ensure adherence to the Definition of Ready and Definition of Done.
• Collaborate with Engineering, UX/UI, Quality, Technical Documentation, and other cross-functional teams.
• Analyze customer feedback, product insights, dependencies, and risks to support prioritization and trade-off decisions.
• Resolve delivery impediments and ensure customer-centric, technically feasible solutions.
• Communicate product vision, roadmap, progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership.
• Promote Agile collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, preferably supporting software products.
• Strong experience in product backlog management, requirement gathering, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and/or SAFe.
• Strong understanding of software engineering and product development practices.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work effectively with technical and business teams.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in medical devices, healthcare, biotechnology, life sciences, or another regulated industry.
• Knowledge of GMP and 21 CFR Part 11 requirements.
• Product Owner or Agile certification.
• Previous hands-on software development experience.

• Biotechnology or life sciences industry experience

• QMS and documentation practices
• Cybersecurity requirements
