Job Title: Factory In-Charge (Sofa Manufacturing)Location: Chennai/Chrompet
Salary: Up to ₹30,000 per month
Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and experienced Factory In-Charge to oversee the day-to-day operations of our sofa manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate should be capable of managing production, supervising workers, ensuring quality standards, and meeting delivery timelines efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily sofa manufacturing operations.
- Plan and monitor production schedules to meet delivery commitments.
- Manage carpentry, upholstery, stitching, polishing, and finishing teams.
- Ensure product quality at every stage of production.
- Coordinate with the Purchase, Stores, and Dispatch teams for material availability.
- Monitor worker attendance, productivity, and discipline.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.
- Maintain a safe and organized factory environment.
- Minimize production wastage and improve operational efficiency.
- Submit daily production and progress reports to management.
- Resolve production-related issues and ensure timely completion of orders.
Requirements
- 3–8 years of experience in sofa manufacturing.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Good knowledge of sofa production processes and quality standards.
- Ability to work under pressure and achieve production targets.
- Basic computer knowledge is preferred.
Salary: Up to ₹30,000 per month (based on experience and skills).
